I was born and raised in western South Dakota. 

I went to grade school in Fairburn. There was only 1 other student besides me in my grade. I then went to Jr. High & High School in Rapid City where there were over 400 in my grade.

I worked at various jobs before going to college to become a Special Education Teacher. I graduated in '88 from BHSU the a double major in Elementary Education and Special Education with a minor in Indian Studies.

I moved to Highmore in '88 and started teaching in the K-12 Resource Room. 

I married Greg in July of 2000. Together we have 4 children. His 2 girls and my boy and girl.

Bill the oldest is married and living in Sioux Falls. He is a licensed Pipe Fitter, putting in sprinkler systems in buildings. He has 1 child a daughter.

Annie the next in line is also married. She lives in Rochester, MN and teaches at the community college. She also has 1 daughter.

Tomi was in nursing school when she passed away. She has left us with an empty spot, but also a reminder and joy. She left behind a son whom we are raising. He is a lot of fun.

Caty the youngest is living in Pierre and enjoying her life there immensely. She loves having independence and doing her own thing.
